Empowering Youth in Tech
BEST Conference Day
BEST Conference Day is a youth tech empowerment event featuring workshops and talks on coding, cybersecurity, AI, and VR.
Participants can network with industry experts and connect with leaders from various companies. It’s part of the European Conference of Engineering and Technology Students, attended by students from 85 groups across 29 countries.
General Assembly
The General Assembly, a key BEST event, occurs twice annually, gathering delegates from each local group and international leaders to shape the future of this European student organization. It includes reports from local groups and international departments.
The next assembly, hosted by BEST Tallinn, will take place in Estonia in November 2024, returning after 2016. The event comprises BEST Conference Day and assembly sessions.
International
BEST
BEST (Board of European Students of Technology), founded in 1989, fosters communication, cooperation, and exchange among European students. With 85 Local BEST Groups (LBGs) across 29 countries, it forms a dynamic, international student network.
BEST is an international, apolitical and non-profit student organisation, which provides students of technical-technological and natural sciences and mathematics faculties with informal education, development of their potential and support in starting a professional career.
BEST Tallinn
The organisation was founded at the international level in 1989, and so far eighty-five local groups have been established in twenty-nine countries across Europe.
The local group in Tallinn was founded in 1991 and today has around two hundred and fifty members. Our projects help students in their development, providing them with opportunities for complementary education, educational involvement, and career development.
Throughout the years we have organised:
- 34 jobfairs “Võti Tulevikku” (Key to the future)
- 6 engineering competitions “Enginaator”
- 31 international academic courses
